(I’m sorry you all, from here on out I’m going to stop with the list of chapters, not the series but you see the list of chapters above this small text. As of now I’m going to do PREVIOUS and NEXT instead because updating EVERY chapter with a small detail when I’ve uploaded a new chapter is extremely boring. I’m sorry but that’s how it’s going to be from now on)

- Ok, a glowing stone, so there’s more? Probably, Blue, lead the way!
Blue pulled out his map from his bag/inventory:
- It’s ok man, I’ve got it, and there are dots where we need to go. Man! I LOVE this game!
- Follow the dots then! Don’t waste precious time!
Blue laughed and started running towards the mountains.

When Red and Blue arrived there was a cave they had to enter. It was extremely dark. Not even the opening to the cave gave much light even if it was bright outside. Then further in when the entrance wasn’t visible anymore there was several small glowing dots everywhere. The glowing stones, maybe?
- Ok, let’s pick one each and get out of here.
- The info says that they don’t do anything more than shine... Collectors of this stone use them as a light-source at night.
- Good, I’ve got one already. Red, you take one too, your Warrior-guide told you he or she needed only one so you don’t need more.

- Geez, Blue, I’m not stupid! These things only sell for 1 gold coin each! It would be a waste of time standing here!
Blue nodded, Red grabbed one of the stones and they both found their way out of the cave using the stones to show the way. Blue looked at his left arm and read what had been checked off and what was left:
- Ok, next stop is the “grave yard” for the “bronze egg”. I suppose if I’d grab the egg another one would respawn after that.
Red listened in on Blue’s theorizing until they reached the grave yard and Blue stopped talking.
- Err, ok, let’s stick together. I don’t want to be attacked here. You have a lot more battle-experience than I d-
- Actually blue, experience in this game is called honor. So, you need honor to level up and I’ve got more honor than you do. Therefore, we should stick together.

Blue was a little surprised that Red was talking tactics.
- Now to find the egg...
- It’s probably ellipse formed and because it’s called “The Bronze Egg”, it’s probably a shining brown metal surface.
Blue cleared his throat and as if luck had heard them the egg was just up ahead on a stone the size of an exercise ball. The egg was ellipse formed and had a brown metal surface that glimmered from the sunrays. But because this was a grave yard it was cloudy and a thin mist covering the ground like every other grave yard in the horror movies... Red went over to the egg and took it, about 3 seconds later the egg respawned but Red still held an egg just like the one on the stone.

- Go ahead dude, take it.
Blue grabbed the egg and it was as heavy as he had imagined, the egg was the size of two fists held together but it was as heavy as a bowling ball. They both put the eggs in their inventory and left the grave yard to go back to the village in which they started. When they got back they had to find the building (or castle, I don’t know) called “The Halls Of Heroes”. Red and Blue found it and in it there was corridors with players’ names written on the walls. Every corridor representing the class the player was playing as.

Red chose “The Hall Of Warriors” whereas Blue entered “The Hall Of Mages”.

Blue received a feather pencil, he looked at the wall and found an empty spot. He looked at his right arm and pierced the skin with a quick stab. The pain that followed was almost unbearable. Imagine stabbing yourself with a needle 1 centimeters / 0.393700787 inches into you in your arm (the lower part closer to the wrist). He hissed and simply took deep breaths before writing his name on the wall. He then threw the feather pencil away and walked out from the corridor.

Red received a feather pencil also, but he stabbed himself in the right shoulder since his arms were covered with armor. He did feel pain but not much, he wrote his name on a free place and threw away the feather pencil.

Red and Blue met outside the building and looked at each other. Blue swallowed and trembled slightly:
- I felt it.
- Dude, me too, maybe this isn’t a game we should take lightly?
Blue looked at Red’s right shoulder where blood was seeping out:
- Didn’t you feel the bears and boars attacking you back when I collected golden reed and green-aura mushrooms?
- Just barely, my armor took most of the damage.
The armor Red was wearing was still in one piece, just a few scratches here and there but otherwise he looked fine.
- Maybe this game has self-generating health too?!
- Wow, Blue, that’d be so neat!

They both returned to their respective guides they previously spoke too and both gave more or less the same answer:
- Brave Warrior, I have nothing more to teach you! Find your way and become strong! May the gods be with you!
- Wise Mage, I have nothing more to teach you. Find your way and become strong. May the gods be with you~
Red and Blue met up again:
- Wow, more time to level-grind and enjoy the game, right?! Of course we can come back here and accept quests again later if we want to, but I need a fuckton of honor and level up fast.
- Yeah, I’ve got your back, buddy! What spells do you know?

Blue hadn’t thought about spells before, he had no spell book but the names of the spells simply popped up in his head:
- I know 5 spells so far.
- Ok, cool, what spells exactly?
- Hehe, let’s go to the forest and gather some green-aura mushrooms, there we can test the spells out.
Red sneered and nodded, they both went over to the second place they were at: The bears and green-aura mushrooms.
- Where the bears tough, Red?
- Nah, they’re slow but strong, kill one fast before it hits you. I swear, it’s almost a “one hit kill” thing but not quite. More like a 10’th of your max HP.

Blue nodded, before he cast the first spell he wanted to ask something:
- How do I know my HP runs low?
- You’ll feel it.
Red said and smiled diagonally. Blue swallowed and prepared for a spell:
- Fire!
Of course his first spells had to be the 5 elements... A ball of fire shot out from the staff and it stalked the bear until it hit. The bear instantly ran towards Blue and Red sliced the bear’s head of. Blue felt a vibration in his left palm and looked at it, a pretty thick white ring.
- When that ring becomes a ball, you will level up. I have one myself. Did you notice your hand vibrating when we completed the first quest?
- No, I didn’t notice that... So, when this ring becomes a ball I will level up?
- Exactly, now let’s kill bears!

Blue always shot the first attack, fire, water, earth, air and then a booster for Red and himself. That booster raised the speed, strength and defense of the target. But of course he couldn’t boost the bears, obvious? They continue for some time and in the middle of the circle/ball in the palms of Red and Blue’s hands there was a number of what level they had.
- I’ve reached level 15 and it’s not even dark yet! What level are you in, Red?
- Oh, me? I’m in level 21, while you collected stuff back in the quest I leveled up to level 7.
Blue snickers and rubs the back of his head:
- That explains it, but we don’t have to be the same level, as long as we’re in the same team it’s all good.
- Yeah, ok, remember we need to find oak leaves to make that elixir you talked about earlier?
Blue just remembered and checked his map:
- For the love of-! How are we going to find oak leaves?! Everything else has been pointed out on the m-!

When Blue said oak leaves, several dots appeared on the map placing out where oak leaves could be collected. Red tilted over the map and looked at it:
- Well, that was convenient! Let’s go, Blue!
Blue and Red walk over to the closest dot: Red kills foxes and Blue gather a lot of oak leaves. Blue goes down to the river and combines green-aura mushrooms with oak leaves in a glass bottle (that he bought in the village) with water. The ingredients simply dissolve and the water gains a luminous green color. He repeats with all the other ingredients and the bag that was his inventory seemed to be bottomless!
- Ok, Red. I’m done with the elixir, I’ve made 32 for you and 46 for me since you have higher level.
- Yeah, ok, whatever. Let’s go accept a mission, I found this while you were mixing elixirs, “Kill Shadow (Master)”-
He said reading the info from his arm.
- “This Shadow Master is just one of many”, so this guy is just one of the bosses for newbies! You go accept this quest too and let’s get him! We have elixir so it’ll be ok, right?

Blue nodded, went back to the village to accept the mission then he and Red walked over to the grave yard where the supposed “Shadow Master” was hidden. They looked around and Red found a lever in a grave:
- Blue! I think I know what we have to do! Come over here and get ready for battle!
Blue hurried over to the grave where Red was and Red pulled the lever.
The ground started to quake and something came up from the ground a short distance ahead of them. A black human-shaped cloud of smoke dug up from a big grave. Its height was twice the height of Blue. The Shadow had multiple arms, 6 of them in total, like some Hindu deity. It howled, Red and Blue covered their ears because the howl from the Shadow was PAINFULLY loud!

- BLUE! SNAP OUT OF IT! BOOST ME!
Blue did as he was told, he said the spell and boosted Red’s speed, attack and defense.
Red raised his sword and dashed towards the Shadow.
Blue boosted himself and first shot blades of air at the Shadow, no effect.
Blue shot rocks at the Shadow, no effect.
Blue shot jets of water at the Shadow, no effect.
Red was taking damage since he fought at close range with the Shadow Master, Blue desperately mumbled the command and shot balls of flame at the Shadow.

The Shadow shrieked at pulled back. Fire! Fire was the answer! The only thing that could kill a Shadow was light! ... That made sense... Goddammit, Blue... Blue kept shooting balls of flame towards the Shadow and the black being soon dissolved and died? Red ran towards Blue and Blue quickly assumed Red would kick his ass for being a total idiot but he jumped at and embraced him hard:
- DUDE! THAT WAS AMAZING! I could never have done this without you! I didn’t even have to use the elixir!
- Whoa, ha-ha, ok, Red. It was nothing really. Stop, you’re making me blush.
Red let go of Blue and ran towards the village. Blue sighed, smiled and followed him.
- What’re we going to do now? Accept another quest or level grind?
- We need to sell shit first!
Ok, they sold the things they didn’t need and met outside the village on the south side:
- Ok, NOW what do we do?
- Blue, we’ll level grind, I don’t want to imagine what would happen and what we would lose if we died.

Blue imagined degrading down to level one and losing ALL OF THE HONOR, SPELLS (other than the boost and 5 elements he has one spell called Gravity, Catastrophe and another called Teleport which is self-explanatory) AND THE AWESOME EQUIPMENTS! (Mostly accessories, silver necklace, silver rings, silver bracelets, other things made of silver and a new staff)
- Yeah, exactly, now let’s go level grind.
- Right behind you, Red!
They Travel around the vast game, explore, level grind and more exploring.

When they have both reached level 40 they go do some more quests in the village, such as: Collect this, kill this, defeat this Shadow, escort these villagers from this village through the woods etc. And they rank up to 47 by doing all of that.
- Dude, we’re in level 47! This is almost too good to be-...
- Mm? “Too good to be”-what, Blue?
Blue rubbed his forehead and sighs:
- Too good to be true...
He muttered, he remembered they had to get back home soon. To pay bills and to eat the food in the fridge before it gets spoiled. He looked at his staff, the accessories, the toga and lastly the environment around him.
- Red, this game, I don’t think I can leave it...
- ... Neither do I, even if I can I don’t want to... “But we have to” is what you want to say, right?
Blue nodded and sighed, why would anyone of them want to leave the game now that they had gotten further here than in real life? How many days had passed outside of the helmets? Simply thinking about the helmets made Red and Blue feel them. The helmets were still on their heads even if they weren’t visible here.

Blue let out a quiet groan and cleared his throat:
- Dude, we have to go...
- I know... But- We can go back here some other day right?!
Red suddenly lit up as he asked if they could come back. Blue smiled and nodded:
- Of course we can come back! But, err... How do we get out?
Red tapped his foot in the ground and hummed. Then he looked towards the sky and simply said:
- Log out!
And then Red disappeared, Blue did the same, looked towards the sky and whispered:
- Log out...
A bright light stung his eyes and then darkness followed. A muffled voice spoke to him:
- Blue? ... Blue? Are you out? The staff here says that you have to be logged out before removing the helmets; otherwise your brain could take major damage. So if you’re out, respond!

Blue muttered something, put his hands at the helmet and tried to remove it, but it was too tightly wrapped around his head. That’s right, the helmets that were given to the other players in here had wrapped around their heads like Venom from Spider-man 3.
- Red? Take this damned this off of me.
Said and done, Red removed the helmet, how? No idea...
- I found a button in the back of my helmet, pushed it and the helmet simply fell off.
It was so incredibly bright that Blue had to cover his eyes.
- Red, I-... I won’t even bother asking how you knew how to log out. Anyway, where are we?
- Dude, you’re not going to believe me even if I told you. We have been playing for a week; the staff in the arcade couldn’t force us out of the game. We had to find our way out ourselves. The staff hospitalized us until we decided to log out

- But-... Couldn’t they have just-? ... They could force push us out of the game, shut the helmets off with a remote or something. Don’t tell me that our brains would be damaged by that too...
- They exactly what they said. Come on, pull the IV out from your arm, I’ll discharge us from the-
Blue grabbed Red’s arm before Red was able to react, pulled Red in and kissed him deeply (don’t worry; they’re the only ones in the small white room).
- Next time we decide to go play this game, we should go and have some fun in one of the restricted areas.
- *Snicker* Blue, you’re hinting me something aren’t you?
Blue snorted and smiled diagonally:
- Maybe I am?
Red pulled out the IV from Blue’s left arm and lifted Blue up bridal-style:
- I don’t have a white horse, but you can ride me home, wise wizard.
- Brave warrior, I thank thee for thy offer, but I have to decline.

They both shared a laugh and Red let Blue down, they went out to the reception and checked out. Red had been with Blue more often and done nerdy things lately, playing games, talking nerdy things and simply being close to Blue in general. When they came back to the apartment, Blue grinned and disappeared into Red’s bedroom. Red smiled and laughed demonically, locked the door and went after Blue into his bedroom. Blue had already pulled his shirt off and sat down on Red’s bed. Red closed the door to his room and licked his teeth, Blue waved him over:
- Just how long are you going to make me wait?

(I’m going to put up a warning for a little smuts ^^)
Red ripped his shirt off (without ruining it) and pushed Blue down on the bed, he pulled Blue’s pants down a bit and began caressing Blue’s ****. Blue gasped and grabbed the sheet hard, closing his eyes tightly. Red unzipped himself and entered Blue. Blue muttered “ouch” and gently hit Red’s cheek:
- Ok, fine, we’re even, now don’t move and wait until I’ve adjusted to you.
- *Laughter* Yea, yea, aren’t you a little masochistic anyways?
Blue laughed and sat up, got close to Red and held his hands behind Red’s head:
- Maybe I am? And you’re a little sadistic, aren’t you?
- *Snicker* Maybe I am?

They kissed.

They day turned into night.

The moon shone down on San Francisco.

Late that night

/HAH-HA! I’M ON A GODDAMN ROLL HERE!
Since you wouldn’t know how the “helmet” looked like and how it “wrapped around” the head of the one who put the helmet on, I figured I could draw it. Sorry, no picture of Red and Blue this time. ^^
(I still hope though that I get the “views” from the story I make for these and not just the pictures)

If you, the reader, liked this, please, recommend it to a friend and if you have the time please comment and give me feedback what you liked and what was bad (and why).

I want to become better and be the best that I could possibly be. I keep my old chapters as they are mostly because I want to see how I develop throughout the continuing process of my story/fanfic/fanart.

Example:
I liked the well detailed parts! X3
Or:
I didn’t like how everything happened so quickly, drag it out a little more, but not too much.

Also, if I spell something wrong or if there are any grammatical errors, don’t mind it.
I try my hardest to think of the story and how long I make it because deviantART doesn’t allow too long texts in the description. So I try to keep my chapters brief but satisfying.

See you all next time loyal readers! X3
